QIAT listserve - a must read!

If you haven't joined the QIAT listserve (Quality Indicators for Assistive Technology) yet, please, please do it now! Last week there was a conversation about successful implementation of high tech AAC devices and this week there's an incredible conversation about how to word/place AT usage in the IEP. Penny Reed, Joy Zabala and Gayl Bowser join in, along with AT specialists working with students from around the country. The IEP thread is very interesting and it's extremely helpful to hear what other states/districts are doing. We will definitely be talking about this at our first meeting in the fall. I find I'm spending more time on it every day...
