Accessible Instructional Materials Training in Marquette!
By clicking on the title of this post, you will be directed to a flier for a MITS training taking place in Marquette on Monday, January 12th. Scott Marfilius is the presenter. Here is an excerpt from the flier:
What are core instructional materials? What are specialized formats? What are print disabilities? Which students have print disabilities? Where can we get these specialized formats? What else is needed so that students can use the materials effectively?
Join us for an in-depth exploration of these questions and more. Learn how states and districts across the nation are working together to ensure that students have the materials they need for educational participation and achievement. There will be hands-on opportunities with software as well as resources for selecting, acquiring, and using accessible instructional materials.
